Employee Drug Testing methods.
Workplace drug testing can only be introduced following the introduction of a clear and comprehensive company drugs and alcohol policy which has been agreed by management and employees.
The methods of workplace drug testing vary and can be either a rapid, point of care test or a laboratory test, or a combination of both.
The biological sample collected and the nature of the substance detected can mean that drugs can be found days or even weeks after consumption.
