Drug counselling services (face to face):

  • Delivered locally through a nation-wide network of over 900 counsellors across the UK and Ireland our expert counsellors can provide a unique bespoke counselling service for employees with drugs and alcohol problems.
  • Only professionally qualified, registered and experienced counsellors are used. Each has, on average, over 8 years experience
  • Early face to face counselling sessions – typically within 48 hours or within hours after an episode or crisis
  • Off-site, face to face counselling in dedicated, approved offices close to work or home. (No service user is expected to travel more than 30 minutes for a counselling session)
  • Up to 8 x 1 hour face to face sessions, including an initial assessment session in any 12-month period
  • Assessment, diagnosis, support extension or onward referral to appropriate local resources. Follow-up and return to work support, backed by case by case clinical supervision
  • Individual counsellor professional liability insurance (minimum £500,000/€1million limit per event).

Other Management Services

Core programme account management support services:

  • Full launch programme and the provision of ongoing promotional and other support activities
  • Regular liaison with EAP manager
  • Monthly utilisation reports
  • Annual/six monthly review meetings
  • Bespoke communication materials (brochures and cards)
  • Ongoing programme promotional support (posters, emails, user pages, use of usual communication channels e.g. newsletters, inductions, payslips etc.)
  • Provision of a series of one hour on-site training sessions as part of the EAP (e.g. sessions on work /life balance, pressure management, managing change etc.
  • Feedback for action (as appropriate)
  • Programme and performance standards measured against agreed objectives
  • Corporate professional liability insurance (up to £1million/$2 million for any one event).
